Clarice Henry, from Argo Louisiana, seen in this photo with her brother Gideon and sister Gertrude, is perhaps the greatest living Drecoist. Henry has mastered the art of "baiting" frogs and has been doing it nearly all her adult life. Since her discovery by The Art Dreco Institute, Henry has continued to produced additional master works, such as American Neolithic and Flag Raising at Iwo Jima.

For 20 years Ms Henry has been collaborating with the Institute's goal to re-enact American History entirely in stuffed frogs. No longer a young woman, Henry seems to improve with age, and rumors of a major 20th century re-enactment have reached The Institute. An important question these days remains one of Henry's stamina and failing eyesight. Working under a grant from the Art Dreco Institute, it is hoped that family pressure (husband "Bull" has been after her to retire) will not end a career, which, with impending senility, could blossom into legend.

Selected Works:

Spirit of '76 | American Neolithic

Augustus Scheissmacher | Chester Eggart
