Shell Dreco - Little Boy Blue

The glazed expression made famous by Blanche De Bois is approximated here in this shell masterpiece. The boy's expression, part cherubic, part stunned, is reminiscent of one of the Campbell Soup kids on Thorazine. Seated on his concrete throne, the boy is surrounded by sea shells. A fraying electric cord weaves sinuously behind him and behind him, like a backdrop, is a dusty Abalone shell.
