Mr Bojangles was the name of the Pomeranian dog used by Pinkus the Clown, in the act he performed for the Barkus Brothers Family Circus. When Mr Bojangles died, after 10 years of performing, Pinkus had him stuffed. When Pinkus died, Mrs Pinkus deacquisitioned Mr Bojangles and The Institute acquired it.
