It is obvious from the first glance at Neptune's plaster tongue that you are in the presence of a masterpiece. One sees a frontalized surrealist, cubist-primitive totem with a spiritual if not a stylistic affinity to the work of Brancusi on a bad hair day. What is most astounding, and of great importance to Drecologists, is the recent discovery of the design for this magnum opus. The design for Neptune was discovered in a 1930's edition of the avant garde publication Popular Mechanics under the Title " Game Fish Ash Tray proves the story." The article begins with this immortal sentence: "While the thrill of catching a big fish lasts only a few minutes, the pleasure of reminiscence can last for years if you mount your head to serve as a paperweight, pen holder or ash tray." Make your own Neptune!
